Rogozin and 11 others banned from entering the EU

(BRUSSELS2) Twelve people who threaten the integrity or sovereignty of Ukraine are now banned from entering the European Union and their assets frozen. The decision has just appeared in the official journal. They include:

Rogozin, Dmitry Olegovich. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Publicly called for the annexation of Crimea.

Glazyev, Sergey. Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation. Publicly called for the annexation of Crimea.

Matviyenko, Valentina Ivanova. President of the Russian Federation Council. On March 1, 2014, she publicly supported, in the Federation Council, the deployment of Russian forces in Ukraine.

Naryshkin, Sergei Evgenevich. Speaker of the Duma. Publicly supported the deployment of Russian forces in Ukraine. Publicly supported the treaty of reunification of Russia and Crimea and the corresponding federal constitutional law

Kiselyov, Dmitry Konstantinovich. Director of the National News Agency of the Russian Federation "Rossiya Segodnya". Central figure in government propaganda supporting the deployment of Russian forces in Ukraine

Against-Admiral Nosatov, Alexander Mihailovich. Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet. Responsible for the command of the Russian forces which occupied the sovereign territory of Ukraine.

Rear Admiral Kulikov, Valery Vladimirovich. deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet. Responsible for the command of the Russian forces which occupied the sovereign territory of Ukraine.

Surkov, Vladislav Yurievich. Close associate of the President of the Russian Federation. Played an active role in preparing and organizing the mobilization of local Crimean communities for actions aimed at weakening the Ukrainian authorities in Crimea.

Mikhail Malyshev. Chair of the Crimea Electoral Commission / President of the Crimea Electoral Commission
Responsible for the organization of the referendum in Crimea. Responsible for ratifying the results of the referendum under the Russian system.

Valery Medvedev. Chair of Sevastopol Electoral Commission. / Chairman of the Sevastopol Electoral Commission.
Responsible for organizing the referendum in Crimea. Responsible for ratifying the results of the referendum under the Russian system.

Lt. Gen. Igor Turchenyuk. Commander of the Russian forces in Crimea / Commander of the Russian forces in Crimea. De facto commander of Russian troops deployed on the ground in Crimea (which Russia continues to refer to officially as "local self-defense militias").

Elena Borisovna Mizulina. Deputy in the State Duma. Originator and co-sponsor of recent legislative proposals in Russia that would have allowed regions of other countries to join Russia without their central authorities' prior agreement.
