The editorial committee

The editorial committee is made up of managers from B2 and Villard editions, as well as personalities who have experience and skills to share in the areas covered (strategy, defence, foreign affairs, Europe). Its role is to provide general guidance on the further development of certain themes, by consolidating its editorial line, without intervening in day-to-day management.

Javier Solana

Former Spanish Foreign Minister, Secretary General of NATO and first EU High Representative for Foreign Policy from 1999 to 2009.

Nicole Gnesotto

Former Director of the EU Institute for Security Studies. Professor at the CNAM, she is now President of the Board of Directors of the IHEDN

Yves de Kermabon

First head of the European mission EULEX Kosovo deployed in 2008 then special adviser to Pierre Vimont, secretary general of the European diplomatic service on the CSDP. A graduate of St Cyr in 1971, he notably commanded KFOR (the NATO force in Kosovo) in 2004 and the Rapid Reaction Corps - France, from 2005 to 2007. 

Jean-Paul Perruche

One of the first Chiefs of Staff of the European Union. Eurodefense adviser. Graduated from St Cyr in 1967, he joined the artillery. He notably commanded the 35th parachute artillery regiment in Tarbes, and was deputy commander of KFOR (2002-2003).

NB: the choice of personalities is made by the B2 editorial committee and/or by the sponsorship of one of the committee members. In order to preserve its independence vis-à-vis the institutions, these personalities no longer have any direct responsibility in them.
