A British engineer team in support of the Polish border

(B2) A small team of British armed forces will come in support of the Poles on the border with Belarus.

This small team has a first objective: explore how we can provide technical support to deal with the current situation at the Belarusian border ". This follows an agreement between London and Warsaw. It is also the testimony of “ a long story of friendship "between the two countries" NATO allies comments the British Ministry of Defense via Twitter Friday (November 12).

Comment: this help may seem minimalist and symbolic. But the symbol is important. The British have not completely forgotten the contribution of Polish soldiers in the defense of London during the Second World War. And having even just a few British soldiers facing Belarusian border guards and forces also demonstrates that any attempt at Belarusian entry provokes solidarity from the Allies.
