The Tremiti in Tripoli

(B2) The Italian navy ship Tremiti, docked in the port of Tripoli in Libya on Tuesday (8 August). The Italians' objective: to provide logistical and technical support to provide the Libyans with a veritable coastguard corps. The Italian mechanics have thus set about repairing and restoring a corvette bought in the time of Gaddafi of Croatian origin. This will allow the Libyan Navy to increase its capabilities at sea and to control the Libyan coasts.
