(B2) The Latvian Prime Minister, Valdis Dombrovskis, drew the consequences of the disaster from the collapse of the Maxima supermarket in “Zolitude” near Riga. He submitted his resignation today (November 27). This after a meeting with President Andris Berzins. He had been in office since 2009 after 5 years in the European Parliament.

Comment: It is quite rare for a politician to immediately draw conclusions from a political situation so as not to be praised.
