CIDAN and its initiatives

Beyond the prize in question, the ambition of the organizing association is to support as much as possible the development of civic behavior within a strong defense policy. Like a movement that is developing more and more outside the European sphere, CIDAN strives to promote a true spirit of European defence, believing that there is complementarity between patriotism and European citizenship.

The CIDAN is also at the origin of two other annual operations organized at the French national level: The Civisme et Défense Trophy, which rewards the best achievement of citizenship and solidarity between civil society and defence; and the National Corporate Citizen Trophy, under the patronage of the Senate, which rewards French companies for their civic actions.
