A US missile base in Bulgaria?

(B2)After the Poland or the Czech Republic, the Americans are considering setting up part of their missile shield in Bulgaria. According to a Greek military source, quoted by the Bulgarian newspapers, “the technical and ballistic tests carried out by the American military show that the missiles possibly launched by Iran would be most easily intercepted from Bulgarian territory”.

Well ! We count each other obviously geographically. An evidence proclaimed on all the roofs by the Russians (and in particular its ambassador to NATO, the ineffable Rogozin). A little in a vacuum, it must be said. Unless the reality is more subtle. Didn't the Americans come to discover Bulgaria quite simply because it is close to Georgia?
