An internal diplomatic service portal for feedback

(BRUSSELS2) The European Union is going to equip itself with a new internet portal to share best practices and lessons learned from the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP). Initiated under the aegis of the CMPD - the planning and crisis management department of the European Diplomatic Service, the objective of the maneuver is to encourage synergies between the civil and military sectors, and ultimately the global approach. Approach implemented in the various missions deployed in the Horn of Africa (EUNAVFOR, EUTM, EUCAP Nestor), in the Sahel (EUCAP Niger) or in South Sudan (EUAVSEC).

"Lessons & brest practices portal" aims to gather and share information from both European and non-European actors, even from areas broader than that of the PCSD. The site is fed by the work of experts from both the European External Action Service, the Council of the European Union, private actors and Member States. It will also contain a library of key documents and a forum to facilitate sharing and learning. In practical terms, it should make it possible to identify common trends in the civilian and military spheres and to apply the lessons drawn from the experience of practitioners.

No need to rush though if you are not in the "harem". This portal will only be available through the secure network of the European Union "EU-OPSWAN (EU Operations Wide Area Network).
