The deployment of Eufor Tchad resumes

(BRUSSELS2) The European force EUFOR in Chad resumed its deployment on Tuesday after a suspension due to clashes between government forces and rebels. In a press release, EUFOR thus announced that a military transport plane arrived on Tuesday 12 February in Abéché, in eastern Chad. " This arrival marks the effective resumption of the deployment of Eufor Tchad-RCA and will be followed, in the coming days, by other shipments to N'Djamena and Abéché. ". Furthermore, the Political and Security Committee (PSC) of the EU has endorsed Albania's proposal to participate in EUFOR.
