Cybersecurity

British MPs are also interested in cybersecurity

(B2) Cyber-security is today the subject of all attention. After the note from the American Chief of Staff, here is the House of Commons, through its Defense Committee, which is launching an investigation into cyber-security. Identified as one of the three main risks by the national security strategy, the British have thus launched a program of 650 million pounds to ensure cyber-security. Parliamentarians want to know first the nature and extent of this threat to armed forces systems and operations; the organization of the response at the ministerial level as well as the various General Staffs. This fact-finding mission is only a first step, announce the parliamentarians. They want to dig deeper soon to address a whole other series of topics related to this threat. And any contribution that deserves their attention is therefore “ Welcome "...

Contributions can be sent by email to: defcom@parliament.uk and bear the title 'Defence and cyber-security'. Deadline: February 20, 2012.
