In the early morning hours of February 15, police forces from Eulex (the “rule of law” mission in Kosovo), with the support of Kfor units, launched an “organized crime” operation in the Zubin Potok region, northern Kosovo (in the Mitrovica district).

An investigation supervised by the Office of the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo (SPRK) and which aims to prevent a number of offenses such as smuggling, tax fraud and organized crime. 4 homes and a business were searched. And 3 people arrested on the warrant of an investigating judge.

NB: This is one of the first interventions of this kind in this region where the Europeans have until now been relatively discreet.
