In the early hours of the morning of February 15, the police forces of EULEX (the "rule of law" mission in Kosovo), with the support of Kfor units, launched an "organized crime" operation in the region of Zubin Potok, in the north of Kosovo (in the district of Mitrovica).

An investigation supervised by the Office of the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo (SPRK) and which aims to prevent a number of offenses such as smuggling, tax evasion and organized crime. 4 homes and a business were searched. And 3 people arrested on the warrant of an investigating judge.

NB: This is one of the first interventions of this kind in this region where Europeans have until now been relatively discreet.
