Slovenia is redoing its market at Patria in Finland?

(B2) According to Slovenian President Danilo Türk, visiting Finland, Patria will soon receive a new proposal for the purchase of armored vehicles. A highly anticipated decision from the Finnish defense equipment manufacturer.

Slovenia had, a year ago, already indicated that, due to the financial crisis, it would not buy the 135 armored vehicles planned and ordered. But a little less: 80 according to the leaders of Patria.

Relations between Finland and Slovenia have become tense over this military deal which gave rise to an investigation, for suspicion of corruption, just at the time of the general elections in Slovenia. And we hope to turn the page in Helsinki, by winning a market, even a reduced one.
