The Franco-German Tiger combat helicopter at “full operational capability”

(B2) The presence of Eurocopter gear in Afghanistan has an operational asset but also an industrial one. On August 4 and 10, announces the (French) Army General Staff, Tiger helicopters carried out certification shooting events at the Darulaman and Bagram shooting ranges, south and north of Kabul respectively.

Under conditions as realistic as possible, helicopters fired 30mm guns and 68mm rockets at targets designated by forward controllers. This allows them to reach full operational capability.
