The Russians release the 29 “pirates”, handed over to Iran and Pakistan!

(B2)The Russians finally released the 29 “pirates” apprehended on April 28th who were of Iranian and Pakistani nationality at the representations of Iran and Pakistan three weeks ago, because there was no legal basis for trying them in Russia,” the Interfax agency revealed, citing sources from the General Staff of the Russian Navy. It is nevertheless rather bizarre that Iranian and Pakistani citizens thus became pirates with the Somalis. Our Russian colleagues seem just as doubtful.
