“Avoid the southwest area of the Seychelles” says Eunavfor
(B2) A British bulk carrier, carrying a load of 35.000 tonnes of soybeans, was hijacked this Saturday at first light about 250 nautical miles south-west of the Seychelles (0719Sud 05211Est) announced the Headquarters of the European anti-piracy operation EUNAVFOR Atalanta. The crew appears to be unharmed. In the same area, another attack had taken place the previous evening. Eunavfor HQ warned ships to avoid this area.
