Forest fires in Bulgaria: the civil security mechanism activated

Two Canadair CL-415 water bombers from the 43rd Group of the Spanish Air Force flew to Bulgaria on the evening of September 9 to help put out serious fires threatening Rila National Park in the south of the country..  This mailing was made in response to a request made by the European Union Mechanism of Civil Protection (MIC).
