The Council recruits 37 planners: only a few days left

(B2) The Council of the EU launched several notices of competition during the summer. There are only a few days left to complete the certificate that will allow you to compete. The first examination takes place on file. Deadline until September 19st ! The winners will then have to take an oral test.

A competition concerns planners for its ESDP operations. There are two types of positions: for both, a higher education diploma, in-depth knowledge of languages, being a national of one of the 27 Member States and a positive opinion for security:

- Strategic planners of operations and crisis management missions. In particular, 10 years of professional experience in the field of crisis management or defence, including professional experience of crisis management by international organisations, is required. At least three years of this experience must be in political-strategic level planning, including multi-dimensional operations and campaign planning based on experience within a national or international planning structure. (25 positions are offered)

- Experienced Capacity Development Planners: military/civilian/space. 10 years of professional experience in one of the fields: a defense planning service at the national or international level, or the planning of civil or military capabilities at the national or international level [having served as a civil-military cooperation planner (CIMIC) "would be an asset" it is said], the design and operation of spatial or specialized information systems for security (a diploma in technical studies or engineering would be an asset). (12 positions are offered)

The other competition aims to recruit specialists in information systems security, very confirmed administrator level or confirmed administrator.
