Commissioner Spidla prepares the 2009 legislative campaign

(B2) The current European Commissioner for Employment and Social Affairs, Vladimir Spidla, of Czech nationality and former Prime Minister, has decided to cooperate closely for the next European elections (June 2009).

He thus joined the special team of the Czech Social Democratic Party which is preparing, under the leadership of Karel Brezina, a former member of the government of Milos Zeman, according to the daily Pravo. This team also includes current MEPs, Libor Roucek and Richard Falbr.
