The “Weimar” paper soon to be adopted by the 27

(Exclusive) The foreign ministers of the "27" should adopt on January 31 conclusions making their content of the Franco-German-Polish letter, known as "Weimar", in terms of Europe of Defense, and especially of sharing and pooling (pooling & sharing) of military capabilities. The COPS, the Political and Security Committee, endorsed the principle on Friday, also asking the High Representative to welcome this letter. Which should be done quickly.

The CMPD, the civil-military planning structure will be tasked, quickly, with the help of the European Defense Agency and the military staff, to submit a timetable with several stages. The EU military committee, along with these three other bodies, has been tasked with providing member states with their analysis of the means they are ready to delegate, those they are ready to share, and those they want to keep clean (according to the classification in three categories defined during the meeting of December 9). The objective of the 27 is to go fast. They thus wish to be able to take decisions at the Council of Defense Ministers in May. This subject will be discussed, in the meantime, during the informal council in Budapest and Godollo, at the end of February.
