The EU “very” concerned about the situation in Iraq
(BRUXELLES2) C’est un peu le signe d’un découragement et d’une exaspération qui transparaît dans le dernier communiqué de la Haute représentante de l’UE pour les Affaires étrangères concernant la situation en Irak. « L’Union européenne a longtemps encouragé et soutenu le gouvernement irakien dans son travail vers le développement d’une démocratie pluraliste et inclusive. A ce stade critique, je suis extrêmement préoccupé par les rapports en provenance d’Irak concernant l’évolution politique intérieure “explains Catherine Ashton in a statement released to the press in the early evening, Wednesday (December 21) (*).
