EU humanitarian aid arrives in Tripoli

(Brussels2) A team from the European Humanitarian Aid Office and the MIC (the European Commission's protection unit) has been deployed to Tripoli, the Libyan capital, the European Commission announced at noon. The Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection experts ensure that " European Union aid for water, medicine, food and drink is delivered quickly, and that new needs are identified and addressed immediately. The experts work in close collaboration with the humanitarian partners present in the city.

Call for respect for international humanitarian law
