mali. A C-17 begins monthly rotations

(B2) A Royal Air Force C-17 made its first delivery of equipment and material to British Chinook crews deployed in Gao.

Since the deployment of British heavy helicopters last June, this is the first time that refueling has been done directly in Mali. Previously, supplies were flown to neighboring Niger and then transhipped. The rotation should become monthly signals the Royal Air Force.
