(B2) Simple reminder of the Law of the Sea Convention

Every State shall require the master of a ship flying its flag that, insofar as it is possible for him without entailing serious risks to the ship, the crew or the passengers:
(a) render assistance to anyone found in danger at sea;
(b) he goes as quickly as possible to the assistance of persons in distress if he is informed that they are in need of assistance, insofar as he can reasonably be expected to do so.
