A merchant ship attacked in the Indian Ocean

(BRUSSELS2) A merchant ship was the subject of a pirate attack on the afternoon of Monday (March 3), we learned from a maritime source. The ship was off Kaambooni, in southern Somalia, bordering Kenya, when it was chased out to sea by two skiffs armed with pirates. The private guards had to use their weapons (warning shots) to ward off the pursuers.
