Extended Sangaris

(B2) The National Assembly (France) authorized, on Tuesday (February 25), the extension of the intervention of French forces in the Central African Republic (Operation Sangaris). 428 deputies voted for, 14 deputies voted against and 21 deputies abstained. This authorization comes in application of article 35, paragraph 3, of the Constitution, with declaration of the Government followed by a debate, and vote when a military intervention " exceeds 4 months ". It does not imply a limitation of Sangaris strength over time.
