Defense Summit: reflection in the European Parliament

(BRUSSELS2) MEPs from the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Security and Defense Sub-Committee will debate the future "Defence" Summit on Tuesday (5 November) with representatives of the parliaments of EU Member States, and in the presence of the various heads of the European diplomatic service (M. Popowski for the EEAS, Claude-France Arnould for the European Defense Agency and Antonio Missiroli from the Institute for Security Studies of the EU. At the heart of the debate on the future of European defense will deal with the fall in defense budgets, the evolution of the geopolitical context and the maintenance of an adequate level of European defense investment.
