Patrols to find the 2 MSF “humanitarians” hostages off the coast of Somalia

(B2) Several reconnaissance flights of planes and helicopters have taken place in recent weeks to verify the presence or not on board the boats detained by the pirates of the two workers from MSF Spain, Blanca Thiebaut and Montserrat Serra. Some sources indeed indicated that the two cooperators were on board ships in one of the pirate hideouts in Harardhere. High resolution photos were taken. According to military intelligence, which confided in our Spanish colleagues, the presence of "whites" on board could be identified but no trace of the two humanitarians. The two women were abducted a year ago on their way to Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya. Their Kenyan driver was injured in the ambush. Last January, a report had spread that their captors from El Shabaab had "sold" their prey to Somali pirates better able to negotiate a ransom.
