The Eusec DRC mission is recruiting its experts

(BRUSSELS2) Last day (almost) to apply for the European Union mission deployed in Congo to support security reform (EUSEC DRC Congo), which is looking for around thirty people, on secondment from Member States. A renewal of the framework also justified by a reorientation of the mission.

A redirected mission

The objective of the mission has, in fact, been reoriented towards a "gradual transfer of skills" and an "increased ownership by Congolese partners". This "support" will be based on four axes:

- advice at the strategic level in Kinshasa and in the military regions;
- consolidation of the administration and establishment of a human resources management system;
- modernization of logistics;
- revival of the training system, particularly for executives, with in particular support for the School of Administration and Military Academy project in Kananga and the School of Logistics in Kinshasa.

Thirty profiles sought

The mission is mainly looking for "advisers" who will be called upon to assist their Congolese counterparts: MDNAC adviser, Inspectorate, Human Rights/Gender, Human Rights/Civil Affairs, Head of RM Assistance, RM Adviser Mobile Team Adviser, Adviser in Bukavu and Goma, ADM/HR Adviser, Budget Adviser, Human Resources Adviser, Training Manager, Training Adviser, Logistics Adviser, ... An Assistant to the Head of Mission as well as a Head of Administration / Human Resources, IT Manager , Logistics Manager, a Buyer Logistician, a Steward are also wanted. The contracts are generally one year from October 1 for a location in Goma or Bukavu according to the job description. Most posts are on secondment from Member States. In other words, you have to contact - through the hierarchy or otherwise... - the officials of your Member State, ultimately the permanent representation in Brussels. Only one position can be filled on a contractual basis (that of the Head of Administration).
