The first journal of the European Defense Agency

(B2) The European Defense Agency has just published its first journal. About fifty pages, it is centered on sharing and the common mission: "Taking pooling and sharing to the next level" to be more exact. Written entirely in English, it reviews the topics of the moment: from the Sesar system to the anti-IED (homemade explosive devices), through the training of helicopter pilots, drones or the single sky. A few interviews round it all off. "EDA's key mission is delivering capabilities" explains Claude-France Arnould, the agency's director. “There is a price to pay for ensuring security” adds Michel Barnier, the European Commissioner for the Internal Market (on which depends, in particular, the execution of the Public Defense Procurement Directive). An interesting exercise. To be consulted online here, or download pdf version leaves
