11 pirates captured in Puntland

(B2) Puntland Marine Police arrested 27 pirates early Sunday morning (May 11) in an operation in the coastal town of Hafun. Among those arrested, according to Garowe Online, a hacker official involved in an incident that killed 5 members of the Puntland security forces last March near the coastal village of Hul-Anod. A vehicle was seized as well as 7 assault rifles and a 52 caliber machine gun. The 11 suspects were handed over to the judicial authorities.
