(BRUSSELS2) The Polish ambassador to the European Union, Jan Tombinski, is on the short list for the post of EU ambassador to Kiev (Ukraine) and is even one of the favourites, according to certain indiscretions. A list which also includes 3 Britons, according to the PAP agency. If the ambassador does not obtain this position, he could be appointed - according to a Polish colleague - to Copenhagen (as Polish ambassador). This appointment is part of the 2012 rotation of EU ambassadors which is to be in place this summer.
