EULEX special forces raid northern Kosovo

" The operation happened peacefully without major incident ". the evidence will now be reviewed by investigators and prosecutors. Six individuals are the subject of an arrest warrant.
It should be noted that this intervention comes a few days after the Merkel-Tadic meeting in Belgrade where the German Chancellor declared that Serbia could not claim membership as long as it maintained parallel structures in northern Kosovo. And that a new round of direct talks between Belgrade and Pristina starts on September 2.
