EULEX special forces raid northern Kosovo

It should be noted that this intervention comes a few days after the Merkel-Tadic meeting in Belgrade where the German Chancellor declared that Serbia could not claim membership as long as it maintained parallel structures in northern Kosovo. And that a new round of direct talks between Belgrade and Pristina starts on September 2.
