A Finn appointed to the “Markets” directorate of the European Defense Agency

(BRUSSELS2) A Finn, Tarja Jaakkola, will be appointed assistant to the director of markets at the European Defense Agency, from 1 October. Jaakkola is the Finnish government's adviser for the materiel unit in the Ministry of Defence. He began his career - according to his official biography - at the Ministry of Defense in 2004, after having worked in other branches of the administration and military command.
