When French and British planes destroy tanks. Video

(BRUSSELS2) This video broadcast by the British defense and taken up by the daily The Sun illustrates the precision of the firing carried out from British Tornado GR4 aircraft, with MBDA's Brimstone anti-tank missiles. On Thursday, Franco-British forces spotted seven Russian-made T-72 tanks from Gaddafi's forces, which were threatening the city of Ajdabiya. On the first pass, the Tornado had to leave the first 4 tanks because they were too close to civilians. The fifth tank is hit, then another and the seventh by direct fire. The plane was then at 100 feet and had to leave the theater due to lack of fuel. The French (probably the Mirage 2000 D from the Nancy base) took over, taking care of three other tanks. The last tank was reached by the Tornadoes returning to finish the job.
