Vimont to his troops: forward for the adventure
They weren't all there, in the inner plaza of a European building. But a few hundred agents from the future diplomatic service had insisted on making the trip: civil servants from the Commission's DG Relex, the Council and diplomats from the Member States... The diplomatic service management quartet - the Frenchman Pierre Vimont, the Irishman David O'Sullivan, the German Helga Schmid and the Pole Maciej Popowski - newly appointed (1) had, in fact, decided to bring their troops together, in a rather informal way, to introduce themselves, welcome each other...
