One of the pirates transferred to Spain already released

(B2) One of the pirates suspected of having committed the attack on the Basque tuna boat Alakrana, repatriated to Spain last week, was released by the judge. Santiago Pedraz, in fact, considered that there was no proof that he was over 18 years old. In doubt, he therefore ordered his release. The first reports indicated that the person concerned was of legal age. But he claimed otherwise. The various medical tests - carried out at the request of the Audienca nacional - if they made it possible to establish that he was over 17 years old, did not make it possible to establish, in a sure way that he was over 18 years old.
