“Risks of conflict” course for EU journalists

(B2) The French armies organize a training for journalists-reporters to make them aware of the risks of conflict zones. As part of the French EU Presidency, this will be reserved for EU journalists (one per country).

From 7 to 12 December 2008, at the national commando training center (CNEC), on the sites of Mont-Louis and Collioure (eastern Pyrenees).

Objective: that journalists benefit from a better understanding of the risks, also from better knowledge which will allow them to protect themselves and their team, while not putting soldiers engaged in the field at unnecessary risk.
