Slovakia joins the Club of Nine

(B2) Slovakia could soon sign the declaration of the nine Member States on Social Europe (see February 14th). This is certainly not unanimous. But it is a sign. A sure sign that the social question is not always a dividing line between new and old Member States. Another sign: Slovakia could be one of the first states to submit a grant application to the Globalization Adjustment Fund for its textile industry, victim of global competition.
