The child of Tanit, ward of the Nation

(B2) Children who are victims of acts of piracy will be granted the status of “ward of the nation”. And this provision is retroactive to November 10, 2008, is it specified in the bill passed by the National Assembly at first reading. This provision will therefore benefit the child of Tanit, whose father, Florent, was accidentally killed by a bullet from a French commando in April 2009, in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It was a promise from the Minister of Defense to the family of the person concerned.
