EU Defense (Doctrine)

Open to the East, to Russia

(BRUSSELS2) Poland, an eastern neighborhood requires, would like to open if not a structured partnership at least discussions with Russia, Ukraine or Moldova (there seems to be little interest in this country). The idea is to " start with uncontroversial ideas », such as education, training. Opening the European Security and Defense College to these countries would be a “good option”. It is also a question of encouraging certain countries to participate in EU operations, possibly by providing them with support or cooperation for this purpose. Last subject, a bit complex and very political: support for the reform of the security forces. A conference of experts from the Ministries of Defense will take place on the subject in September.
