Use of sarin gas in Syria: clear evidence (UN)
(BRUSSELS2) The report of the UN inspectors which has just been published leaves no doubt. There is indeed use of chemical weapons during the fighting in Ghouta in the suburbs of Damars (Syria) on August 21st. Interviews with at least 50 survivors as well as the medical staff (9 nurses and 7 doctors were interviewed) as well as the samples taken 30 times leave no doubt. Sarin gas was used, and in large quantities. The ground-to-ground rockets found on the spot prove it, as do the medical diagnoses made or the blood tests.
