A conference on defense Europe
(B2) The question of European defense will be at the heart of a debate in Grenoble on Friday and Saturday (22 and 23 October). I'll be there
Friday afternoon will be present around the theme " Is Europe spending enough on its defence? “, the European deputy Arnaud Danjean, the comptroller general of the armies Patrick Gournay and the economist Julien Malizard. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Grenoble museum, 5 place Lavalette 38000 Grenoble. Registrations are done here.
They will be preceded by a workshop on “ Is the Europe of defense a reality? with, in particular, Gendarmerie General Jean-Philippe Lecouffe, Deputy Executive Director of Europol in charge of operations, former Afghan (internal security attaché in Afghanistan (2010-2012)), General Philippe Rio, former head of the EUCAP mission Sahel Mali (2017-2020), Pierre Berthelet, associate researcher at the University of Grenoble (CESICE), and Thomas Boccon-Gibod, lecturer in philosophy of law at the University of Grenoble.
