Commander Bouan in the Gulf of Guinea

(B2) The high seas patrol boat Commander Bouan (F-797) began duty on Thursday (May 20) in the Gulf of Guinea. Mission: ensure maritime surveillance in the face of three scourges: illegal fishing, piracy and other illicit trafficking. This is the 157th rotation of the French Navy as part of Operation Corymbe. Patrols which are now part of the maritime presences coordinated at European Union level.
