The BF Esperanza inspected by Operation Irini

(B2) A visiting team from Operation IRINI conducted an inspection on the BF ESPERANZA, a container ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. The ship left Port Said on March 8 and was heading for Benghazi (eastern Libya). The inspection took place on a " cooperative mode (with the permission of the ship's captain). " Nothing suspicious was found says the operation's headquarters in Rome. This is the eighth inspection since the start of the operation in April 2020.
