An exchange of information between Operation Irini and UNODC. And training

(B2) The European Operation deployed in the Central Mediterranean in charge of monitoring the arms embargo (EUNAVFOR MED Irini) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) have signed a cooperation agreement. Agreement signed by videoconference (VTC), Covid-19 obliges, on March 15. Issue: exchange of information and training. It is about having mutual support to identify and analyze criminal activities related to arms trafficking, illicit oil export from Libya as well as human smuggling and trafficking details the operation. This agreement also includes formations of the Libyan navy and coast guard. (JS.B st.)
