Objective of the visit: to ensure the quality of the construction, identify the improvements to be made, study the methods of security and defense of the site, and identify with the detachment commander the training necessary so that his unit can, from this camp, guarantee better security for the population.

The new camp of the unit in charge of securing the Secure Development and Governance Pole (PSDG) was inaugurated on September 16, in the presence of Malian Minister of Security Salif Traoré and EU Ambassador Bart Ouvry . Funded by the EU, with the technical and operational support of the EUCAP Sahel Mali mission, this secure camp can accommodate 120 personnel.
