The drone took off from Dalaman Naval Air Base in Mugla at 05:00 (Turkish local time). After a flight of about five hours, he landed at Gecitkale Airport in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as reported by the Turkish channel TRT.

A deployment approved by the Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (1). He had decided on Friday (December 13) that " Gecitkale airport could be used for drone activities ».

This machine can be used for intelligence thanks to an autonomy in flight approaching 24 hours, but also to carry out strikes as it has already done in Syria and Libya.
