No shooting in or around Koda confirms EUMM Georgia

(B2) The European Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) could not confirm the allegations of shooting in or near Koda on Tuesday (5 November). EUMM itself triggered the hotline the next day, November 6, to try to get clarification when this information appeared in the media or in political statements. EUMM carried out several patrols in the vicinity of Koda village on November 5. But no EUMM observer confirmed that gunshots had been heard, and no follow-up investigation conducted by the mission with local interlocutors and Georgian authorities could provide any evidence.
