No shooting in or around Koda confirms EUMM Georgia

(B2) The European Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) could not confirm the allegations of shooting at or near Koda on Tuesday (November 5). EUMM itself triggered the hotline the following day, November 6, to try to get clarification when this information appeared in the media or in political statements. EUMM carried out several patrols around the village of Koda on 5 November. But no EUMM observers have confirmed that gunshots were heard, and any follow-up investigation of local interlocutors and Georgian authorities by the mission has been unable to bring up any evidence.
