(B2) The EU Internal Security Forces Assistance Mission in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) handed over a short-range tactical drone to the police in Odessa on Friday (21 June). Objective: to strengthen the capacities of its criminal investigation service

This equipment handover follows a series of trainings for investigative services in seven regions of Ukraine, including Odessa, on the use of drones in criminal matters.

On Wednesday (June 19), the European mission handed over to the national police of the Kirovohrad region a series of equipment worth 80.000 euros: 22 sets de tablet PCs, breathalyzers and portable thermal printers for police rapid response teams, reflectors, vests as well as 23 desktop computers and UPS systems for police stations in the region. Computers that will be used for storing information and processing videos taken by rapid response teams. The Kirovohrad anti-narcotics services, meanwhile, received a set of drug testers and the regional training center various training equipment.
