Operation Sophia in levitation

(B2 – exclusive) Operation Sophia does not currently benefit from additional air resources, as I have been able to verify.

Contrary to what was announced last March when the naval activities of the EU maritime operation in the Mediterranean (EUNAVFOR Med) were suspended, there are still only four aircraft in the area (1).

No country has really offered to come to the aid of an operation which, in fact, has only one operational function: the training of the Libyan coast guard. The force generation conference, scheduled for April, to count contributions even had to be canceled due to lack of volunteers.
